(NEW YORK) September 16, 2025 – In celebration of National Dance Day this Saturday, September 20, AILEY is making it easy for people from all ages and backgrounds to make dance an integral part of their lives by seeing an upcoming performance and getting moving with elite NYC instructors. This weekend people of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to join Ailey Extension instructors at Museum of the City of New York for two free dance workshops, get children moving at the Ailey Studios during the start of the Fall Kids & Teens session, and make plans to try a free class of their choice when they purchase tickets to see Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater during the Company’s annual holiday season engagement at New York City Center.

ATLANTA – December 21, 2022 – Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, beloved as one of the world’s most popular dance companies, returns to the Fox Theatre, February 16-19 for five show-stopping performances featuring eight different dance works as part of a 22-city North American tour. Led by Artistic Director Robert Battle, Ailey’s extraordinary dancers will move audiences with world and company premieres by Kyle Abraham, Jamar Roberts, and Twyla Tharp.
