AileyCamp Enriches Inner-City Youth This Summer In 9 Cities Nationwide Including The Launch Of The First Ever AileyCamp Baltimore

AileyCamp, the innovative full-scholarship day camp will provide life-changing and meaningful experiences to students in nine cities across the United States and welcomes the first ever AileyCamp in Baltimore, Maryland thanks to the support of Towson University. This inspiring program uses the art of dance as a means to stretch the mind, body, and spirit of approximately 900 inner-city students this summer.

Eleven New York City Organizations Selected As First Arts Partners In New Citywide NeON Arts Education Initiative

Ailey Arts In Education & Community Programs are committed to bringing dance into classrooms, communities, and lives of people of all ages in accordance with Alvin Ailey's dictum that "dance is for everybody." The Ailey organization's team will present a variety of lecture-demonstrations, dance classes, and interactive workshops as part of its spring residency at the Harlem NeON.

The Show Must Go On: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Opens Friday, February 14. at the Fox

Despite the cold weather Ailey heats up the stage this weekend with five performances by the Company's extraordinary dancers in innovative premieres and new productions; due to severe weather conditions, the Thursday, February 13 performance has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 16 at 7:30pm.

Ailey Leads Acclaimed Revelations Residency Program For Local Students In Advance Of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's Performances At The Arsht Center, February 20-23, Led By Miami Native and Artistic Director Robert Battle

The Ailey organization is proud to share its mission with the Miami community by using dance as a vehicle to educate, inspire and enlighten people of all ages through the acclaimed Revelations: An Interdisciplinary Approach program. The residency will serve Miami students from February 10-14 at Booker T. Washington High School and Young Men's Preparatory Academy, the first time ever implementation at an all boys school.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Launches 23-City North American Tour With Nearly 90 Performances: February 4 - May 11

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, beloved as one of the world's most popular dance companies, will travel coast to coast on a 23-city North American tour with almost 90 performances from February 4th through May 11th. In addition, today Artistic Director Robert Battle announced that the Company would return to Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater from June 11th to 22nd for a 15-performance engagement.
